Ubisoft released a small teaser trailer, in view of the upcoming reveal of South Park: The Stick of Truth. The game will be shown later today, during the VGX award show.

South Park: The Stick of Truth will be based on the popular adult animated series created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The show’s creators will also appear during the VGX show, along with a sneak peek of the game.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is a role-playing game in the works by developer Obsidian Entertainment, of Neverwinter Nights 2 and Fallout: New Vegas fame. The game was initially scheduled for a December 10 release, but the date was pushed back to March 2014, as reported by VG247.

The VGX, formerly known as the Spike Video Game Awards, is an annual awards show that recognizes the best computer and video games of the year. This year’s edition, airing tonight, will feature a new format including extended demos of next-gen games and interactive one-on-one interviews.
