A brand new report has appeared online claiming that Ubisoft will release not one, but two different full-fledged Assassin's Creed games in 2014, one for the PS3 and Xbox 360 current-gen consoles, and one for the PS4 and Xbox One next-gen ones.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag came out this year across many platforms, including PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and Xbox One, and delighted many gamers with its variety of improvements over 2012's Assassin's Creed 3.

Now, The Examiner reports that Ubisoft is planning to debut not one, but two full-fledged Assassin's Creed titles in 2014.

One will appear for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and one for the PS4 and Xbox One.

According to the website's sources, the series is being overhauled, but it's unclear what that might entail.

Ubisoft has already mentioned earlier this month that it's prototyped an Assassin's Creed online game, but nothing has actually been revealed.
