Ubisoft is determined to increase the popularity of the Might and Magic games, a franchise acquired in 2003.

The company is already preparing two of the franchise's titles, Heroes of Might and Magic V and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, and currently, the portal contains the latest news about them.

The project is much more ambitious and Ubisoft wants to post on the site all the information about the Might and Magic universe and its history.

Users will be able to access the forums developed by the portal, and to participate to competitions and other activities related to the Might and Magic.

Heroes of Might and Magic V is developed by Nival Interactive and is scheduled for next year's spring, the title currently being in beta stage. The producers have promised a demo which should appear towards the end of the year.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is an action game, developed using the Source graphics engine, and is scheduled for 2006, its development being entrusted to Arkane Studios.

The portal is available at this address www.mightandmagic.com.
