14 DAY TRIAL // The Crew car racing game has been around for a little bit more than a month in its full version form and a bit more than a few months in beta. While Ubisoft continues to deploy patches that add new features and fix some of the bugs affecting the game, new content is released as well.
The first consistent DLC for The Crew has just been released and those who already purchased the game's Season Pass will be able to grab it for free.
Dubbed The Crew Extreme Car Pack, the new DLC contains 3 new cars: Aston Martin V12 Zagato, 2013 SRT Viper GTS and Abarth 500. Apart from that there will be new customization options including paint jobs, rims, interiors and tuning specs available in the in-game store for select cars.
But this is not all the content released by Ubisoft today, as developers stated that some new stuff would be available to all players regardless of the fact that they own the Season Pass or not.
All players get access to 4 new missions for free
So, the Extreme Live Update will also add 4 new missions to the game, which are aimed at extreme racers. They will be available to all players free of charge.
The first mission called “Vertigo” challenges players to outrun racers in a high speed and high stakes race along the Colorado River. The next one named “Rollercoaster” allows players race to the top of a mountain and fly down in full speed.
The Crew players will have to push the pedal to the metal and keep their cars steady on a treacherously icy route to secure the fastest time possible in “Slip and Slide” mission.
Last but not least, racers will have to defy gravity in “Hurricane” mission that's sprinkled with difficult jumps on a demanding stunt-filled course located in a construction site.
Ubisoft also confirmed that the Extreme Live Update comes with new unlockable content meant to enrich players' car collection with new tuning specs for five of their favorite cars and show their ride’s wild style with the new “animal” and “nature” stickers.
The Crew Extreme Car Pack is now available for purchase on Steam for €6.99 and it's free for Season Pass owners.
