Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag brings fans an outstanding mix of an assassin’s arsenal with that of a pirate's, bringing forth one unstoppable killing force, on land as well as sea.

Once you get into the shoes of Edward Kenway, you'll be able to find out what a “veritable armory” actually means.

What makes things interesting is that you have so many choices. Lets start with the Assassin’s perfect tool, the hidden blades, easily concealed and just right for a silent kill.

Next is the Cutlass, dual blades that should definitely not be missing from a pirates ensemble and the throwing knives, perfect for killing you enemies from the distance.

Moving on, we have the pistols. Since each gun contains only one bullet it is only normal to have quite a large number of them. Therefore, players can upgrade Edward's holsters to carry a number of four pistols.

The Rope Dart is a familiar item, introduced in Assassin's Creed III, and our character uses it to drag enemies or hang them from a tree.

Another familiar but somewhat new item to fans is the blowpipe. It was used by Aveline in Assassin's Creed Liberation. You can use it to make your target fall asleep or try the “berserk dart” and make your enemy incapable of distinguishing between friend or foe.

Besides all of these, lets not forget smoke bombs and your fists, quite useful when you are stripped of your gear and forced to rely on your bare hands.

At sea, players will get the chance to experience Edward’s floating fortress. Here, you'll find the Jackdaw equipped with a ram, broadside and chase cannons, swivel guns that are quite useful in boarding, heavy shot as well as chain shot.

The most effective weapon for sacking forts is the Mortar while the fire barrels are used to keep enemies from following you.

Finally you have the loyal crew, following you almost anywhere. If you lose them on the way, you can always stop in a big city and pick up more.
