Ubisoft has confirmed that its impressive Watch Dogs open world game will be released next year for platforms like the PC, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

Plenty of great games have been revealed at E3 2012 this week, but one of the most impressive was Watch Dogs from Ubisoft, an open world action game where players needed to use hacks and spy technology to gain an advantage over their enemies.

Now, the French company has confirmed that Watch Dogs is coming next year, in 2013, and will be released onto platforms like the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

While no other details are available, Ubisoft is considering a version for the Wii U and promised that fans would get to hear more about Watch Dogs in the near future.

After the first gameplay video, many gamers believed that the impressive game would appear for next-generation platforms but, as of right now, it seems Ubisoft can make it work on current devices.
