Ubisoft has confirmed that it's going to be present at the 2014 San Diego Comic Con next week with a variety of great games, such as Assassin's Creed Unity or Far Cry 4, not to mention with activities like panels and a special parkour course.

The 2014 San Diego Comic Con is set to kick off next week and celebrates everything related to entertainment, from actual comic books, to TV shows, movies, and of course, games.

Quite a few big publishers have confirmed their attendance, such as Electronic Arts, and now Ubisoft has also shared its plans for the upcoming event on the UbiBlog.

First up, Comic Con visitors will be able to drop by the Ubisoft booth to experience games like The Crew or Just Dance 2015, and some of them will also be available at Microsoft and Nintendo events throughout the event.

What's really interesting is that Ubisoft even went so far as to create a custom parkour course called the Assassin's Creed Experience, located on the Martin Luther King Jr. Promenade at Harbor Drive.

"Hone your skills and learn the tricks of the Assassins. Roll, vault and race your way across the course, and finish with a 25-foot Leap of Faith. You don’t even need a Comic Con badge to participate. Those who complete the course will earn themselves a free limited-edition Assassin’s Creed Experience t-shirt, while supplies last."

At the special event, which is open Thursday to Sunday, visitors will also be able to try out a single-player demo of Assassin's Creed Unity.

Besides this rather wacky promotional project, two special game panels are going to be held at Comic Con.

First up, on Thursday, July 24, at 3:15pm in room 6DE, a Far Cry 4 panel will be held, featuring developers from Ubisoft and journalists from Vice, which worked together to ensure that the fictional country of Kyrat looks and feels like it belongs in the Himalaya mountain range.

On Friday, July 25, at 2pm in room 6BCF, a panel about Assassin's Creed Unity is going to take place, moderated by Aisha Tyler. New details about protagonist Arno Dorian will be revealed, alongside "an inside look at the game." An animated short movie made by Rob Zombie and The Walking Dead comic book artist Tony Moor is also going to be revealed.

The 2014 San Diego Comic Con takes place between Thursday, July 24, and Sunday, July 27, and you can expect other video game activities to be revealed until then.
