The game is expected to hit iOS and Android stores this fall

Good news for fans of Assassin’s Creed franchise as Ubisoft has just announced a new title in the series, which will be available exclusively on smartphones and tablets.

The new game is called Assassin’s Creed Pirates and will land on both iOS and Android platforms sometime this fall.

According to Ubisoft, this is a standalone game for smartphones and tablets, mostly based on naval warfare. Players will be able to explore “the Caribbean during the Golden Age of piracy as Alonzo Batilia, a young and ambitious captain.”

Additional features of the game such as the possibility to manage your own crew, upgrade your ship and engage in huge naval battles have been confirmed as well.

Ubisoft has also announced that Assassin’s Creed Pirates will receive lots of updates after it gets released on iOS and Android platforms. Stay tuned for more details on availability and price tag.
