The two companies will work to create cloud-based app and solutions for tablets

Indian tablet producer DataWind, well-known for its cheap Android tablets has recently announced it was entering a partnership with IT firm Happiest Minds Technology in order to produce a dedicated app store for its UbiSlate tablets.

The companies will concentrate their efforts into designing affordable software for the educational and healthcare sectors, building upon the Android experience, says The Times of India.

DataWind CEO, Suneet Singh Tuli talked about the conjoined effort by saying that “the UbiSlate platform now evolves to the next level with our partnership with Happiest Minds. Through this partnership, we will be able to create a complete mobility experience by offering access to cost effective cloud applications and solutions to our customers.”

DataWind plans to implement the App Store resulted from the partnership onto all of its tablets which includes the Aakash slates, as well.
