UberStudent, a Linux distribution for learning, doing, and teaching academic success at the higher education and advanced secondary levels, is now at 2.10 (3.0 Plato Preview).

UberStudent 2.10 retains a traditional desktop environment and it's based on XFCE. Both XFCE and MATE are boot options, but XFCE is the default option.

Highlights of UberStudent 2.10:

• All known bugs from prior releases are dead and squashed; • Thunar has been updated to version 1.6.2; • Some program redundancy has been removed; • Gorgeous desktop compositing turned on by default, provided by compton; • The UberOxygen icon theme is now comprehensively ported to XFCE and GTK.

Check out the official announcement for more details about the distribution. Download UberStudent 2.10 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
