One of the most popular Twitter clients for Android platform, UberSocial has just received a small update. Previously known as Twidroyd, Ubersocial for Twitter is very close to achieving the 10 million downloads milestone on Google Play Store.

The latest update is mainly aimed at users with Android 4.4 KitKat devices, but some fixes and new features for the general public have been included as well.

According to the developers, a number of bug fixes for Android 4.4 KitKat have been included in the update, but no additional details have been provided.

Furthermore, the latest update introduces actionable notifications. The updating profile image issue that affected most Android users has been addressed as well.

You can now download UberSocial for Twitter for Android 2.5.4.3 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
