UberSocial for Twitter Updated with Fixes and Improvements

UberMedia has silently updated their Twitter client for Android devices, UberSocial. The latest update fixes several well-known bugs and improves the overall performance of the application.

Previously known as Twidroyd, UberSocial now supports the following services: twitpic, mypict.me, yfrog, pic.gd, tweetphoto.com, lockerz, flickr, mobypicture, twitvid, twitgoo, twitsnap, imgur, instagram.

With the latest update, users will notice that the application is much faster and consumes reduced memory for Profile view. In addition, users will now be able to open YouTube, instagram and Facebook links in the respective apps.

The developers also fixed a bug that crashed the application on startup for devices with old Android market and added a link to UberSocialPro in Google Play store. The Search ability has been fixed as well and is now working.

UberSocial for Twitter 2.2.5.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
