Four masked men in a Subaru vehicle forced off the road a delivery truck that was shipping a load of Vertu mobile phones. They later stole the devices worth of USD 6 million.

The theft took place on a link road near junction 4a of the M3 in Farnborough, Hampshire. The Subaru that was involved in the theft is actually a stolen car which was later abandoned in Slough, Berks. Promptly enough, two men from those that stole the Vertu mobile phones have been arrested. Two more are under legal pursuit. Police are addressing to the civilians for further information on where the other two thieves might be found.

Vertu is known to be the most expensive mobile phone brand and produces luxury cellulars. Their special feature is that such devices come with a case made of gold or any other expensive metals and diamonds. Furthermore, they integrate technology from the most famous producers when it comes to integrated cameras or design. Vertu mobile phones are carefully built by hand in England, using only the finest materials and precision-engineered components.

Each of the mobile phones that the four men stole is estimated at an average price of USD5000. Considering the publicity that this event has received, it will most probably prove difficult for the other two thieves to transport and, even more, to sell the Vertu mobile phones that they hijacked.

The Vertu mobile phones are designed especially for bringing the most expensive and distinguished accessories to people with high financial possibilities. This line of mobile phones is rather a statement one, as it is basically meant to reflect the status of its owner. Vertu mobile phones are rather carefully crafted accessories than mobile phones and this is what makes them so expensive.
