African American students at USC are claiming racial profiling has been involved, citing LAPD response to noise complaints at a house party.

A police officer called for back-up after responding to neighbors' complaints of a noisy party at 23rd Street and Hoover.

Neon Tommy writes that, while the DJ turned down the volume, the students were still allowed to leave. Some of them refused to comply and SWAT teams were brought in.

79 police officers showed up in riot gear, in an effort to disperse the roughly 200 people. One student shot the video posted above, mentioning that all the students' IDs were checked beforehand and that no weapons were on site.

While many students claim to have been shoved out while trying to leave the building in an orderly fashion, the incident resulted in six of them getting arrested.
