USB "mouse" pedals for no reason and displays keystrokes/minute ratio

The mouse is a lazy thing that sits silently on your desk, right? Well, this one is different. Even if this hilarious gadget is not actually a PC mouse, it's still a gizmo concept that tries to approach the real mouse philosophy of life: "pedaling". Who said an artificial mouse can't do the evolution dance?

Here's what's it all about. A mouse with hair on its chest pedals on an exercise bike and the faster you type the faster the little thing's poor legs pedal. And here's the best part. The bike's screen (LCD readout, oh well) shows how fast you type. I'm guessing it displays the word per minute ratio. You can hook your mouse to you PC via USB. It would probably look better than the USB hub-tape dispenser combo your just bought online.

English writer Sydney Smith once wrote a letter to an unhappy friend, Lady Morpeth, in which he offered her 20 tips for cheering her up. One of his pieces of advice was the following: "Make the room where you commonly sit gay and pleasant!". His suggestions are as sound now as they were back in the 19th century. So, if you're always trying to cheer up your room, to keep the karma clean and other optimistic stuff, the USB Speed Typing Mouse can actually be a real boon. But "Don't be too severe upon your self" if your cat or dog breaks the mouse's legs. And one last thing, "Avoid poetry!".

The USB Typing Mouse sells for 40 $ (the mouse costs 39$ while the tiny exercise bike has a suggested retail price of 1 buck, well, not really).
