Currently, there are several reliable solutions specially designed to help you keep data on portable devices safe from prying eyes. EasyLock is a $22 (€16,99) solution for encrypting data on your USB drives.

The application is very versatile and offers enterprise-grade portable data encryption solution; it uses AES 256bits CBC-mode encryption. It is cross-platform, which means it can be used on Windows, Mac and Linux.

All you have to do is place it in the root folder of the portable device and run it from there. Setting up a password is mandatory and the countersign needs to be at least 6 characters large.

The interface is extremely simple to use and shows two panels that allow you to encrypt/decrypt stored data with a simple drag and drop.

You can download EasyLock from this page.
