USB is all well and good, but it can't really be used for relaying graphics to a monitor, unless the display is particularly special, but HIS made it so people won't have to worry about that too much.

Basically, it put together a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter, called HIS Multi-View+Sound.

Up to six additional displays can be hooked up to a PC by means of these adapters and the top resolution is 1080p Full HD.

Even high quality sound is relayed, so the converter can easily serve to play full-screen videos in high quality.

HIS even made it HDCP compliant (it can play copy-protected DVDs) and gave support for DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 (the latest 3D games can be played).

The product page is located here but the price is nowhere in sight.
