A new Samsung device has just received the necessary approvals from the Federal Communication Commission, namely the Samsung SCH-R930, which appears to be destined for US Cellular.

The mobile phone carrier has already confirmed plans to launch LTE-capable smartphones on its airwaves, the first of which will arrive sometime in April.

Apparently, Samsung SCH-R930 will be that device, since it packs the said 4G connectivity capabilities.

The smartphone was spotted into the wild before, but no solid proof of its existence has emerged until now.

No specific info on what the device will have to offer when released is available, though Engadget suggests that the phone might somehow resemble the Galaxy Indulge.

Provided that the April launch date for this mobile phone pans out, more details on it will emerge soon, so stay tuned.
