14 DAY TRIAL // South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung announced a few weeks ago plans to release its Galaxy S handset on the US market on various carriers in the country, and a few more info on some of these phones emerged into the wild. We're referring here to the Samsung Captivate and Fascinate, which are expected to land at AT&T and Verizon in the near future, and which emerged in the video ads embedded at the bottom of this article, as well as at the Samsung Vibrant, which is already listed on T-Mobile USA's website, and which has been confirmed for a July 15 release.
Wireless carrier AT&T should make its version of Samsung Galaxy S (the Samsung Captivate) available for purchase on its airwaves come July 18. It seems that the company already confirmed plans to make the move, and that it also announced officially that the mobile phone would sport a price tag of $199.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement. As for the Fascinate, Verizon's Galaxy S model, no specific details on its availability or pricing emerged, though the carrier might not be too late to the party.
The marketing campaign for Galaxy S kicked off a few weeks ago, when the first ad with the Samsung Epic 4G, headed for Sprint, emerged, two new clips are available with the Galaxy S, featuring AT&T's and Verizon's models, but they are actually one and the same clip, with very few modifications. Take a look at them to see that they also resemble the ad aired for Sprint's Epic 4G.
In related news, we learn that the T-Mobile-bound Samsung Galaxy S, dubbed Samsung Vibrant, has been confirmed as being slated for launch on July 15. Previous rumors on this suggested that the wireless carrier might plan on making it available for purchase next week, and it seems that things have been already nailed down. Moreover, the phone can be seen on T-Mobile's website here, with the coming soon tag attached to it.
