UPDATE: Miss USA Not Dethroned, Sent to Rehab

After a couple of days that must have seemed as hell for Tara Conner, the 21-year-old beauty crowned this April Miss USA, The Donald's sentence came and went... and she still has her tiara on. Phew! The stress we have all been through!

Over the weekend, several serious allegations began to surface in all the newspapers, according to which Conner was no longer suitable to be wearing the tiara and to pose as Miss USA. The moment these got to the pageant committee's ears, they immediately resolved that a decision must be taken in her case, with chances being in favor of her axing.

Late last night, former members of Tara's entourage started making other accusations, saying that she was a drug addict, using sex as a means to score drugs, a lesbian who often engaged in sexually explicit routines with Miss Teen USA, Katie Blair, in public spaces and, all in all, not the role model that she was supposed to be.

She was evicted from the Trump Place apartment by Donald himself (who co-owns the Miss Universe Corp. with NBC) and most likely sent to her hometown. All chances were against her, especially after the press got wind of her two drugs tests for which she came out positive for cocaine.

This morning, bright and early, Tara Conner took her walk of shame to the Trump Tower, amidst a crowd of crazed out paparazzi and reporters. Miss USA 2001, Kandance Krueger, who was also present outside the building gave Tara little credit. 'This is very disappointing to me if the allegations are true. Tara Conner should have the crown taken away. When you become Miss USA, you have to take the title seriously and you have to make good decisions and Tara obviously didn't.', she told the reporters.

However, The Donald emerged a while later and announced something that initially shocked the 'guilty party' too. Tara Conner will get to keep her title, but she must (MUST) enter rehab and, the first misstep that she takes, will also be her last. 'She's agreed to go into rehab. She knows that if she makes even the slightest mistake from here on she will be immediately replaced.', Trump is quoted by news agency TMZ, as saying.

And that was all, folks! The fat lady has sung. And Tara will be out of the spotlight for a while.
