The Dublin-based site is another victims of hackers who want to show their skills

The website of UNICEF Ireland (unicef.ie) was breached and defaced by a hacker who calls himself Brwsk007, reports CyberWarNews.

Brwsk007 claims that not only was the main page defaced, but he also obtained access to their databases.

“Your site is Unsecure. We Accessed to your database and all files. We defaced you . You now see This. You will learn about security or contact us,” read a message on the hacked site.

While some may say that it was nice of him to highlight the flaws that were present in the site, one can only wonder about the moral implications of committing such an act.

Organizations like UNICEF don’t represent governments and they probably have nothing to do with banks or other organizations that are considered to be corrupt by hacktivits.

At the time of writing, the website is back online and hopefully, all patched up.
