Following a new scientific investigation, a group of investigators from the Out-Of-Body Experience Research Center, in Los Angeles, announces that it has obtained the first direct evidences demonstrating that encounters with UFOs and aliens are a product of the human mind.

In their experiments, investigators asked 20 volunteers to participate in a sleep study. Test subjects were taught a series of mental technique that was meant to help them have out-of-body experiences. Nearly half of them experienced such an event.

Seven out of 20 reported meeting aliens or seeing UFOs during these dream-like experiences. “When people experience alien abductions in the night, they usually don't know they are actually in REM sleep and having an out-of-body experience,” lead study researcher Michael Raduga explains.

This investigation “shows that it's not about aliens, it's about human abilities, and it can happen to almost anyone,” Space quotes the expert as saying.
