Altar Games brings back the aliens again in a confrontation over the supremacy over the Red Planet. With the human forces defeated (developers’ choice) in Aftermath and the orbital station of Laputa just being set, a small contingent of soldiers
and scientists is sent to Mars to try to terraform it and thus turning it to an Earth-like blue and green planet. The time setting for Aftershock and
Afterlight is the same – year 2050. What should have been just a basic mission turns into a real war for land as the Reticulans seem to want their share of the planet. A new species is spawned out of the depth of the Universe – the Beastmen. They seem to care about nothing more than mass genocide and they keep attacking every region that you have acquired with so much work.
Through endless hours of research learning about weapon technology, dissecting the recovered bodies of dead enemies, techniques of terraforming and various technologies that would improve the living in the harsh Martian environment all correlated with hours spent by your soldiers on the battlefields finally your new home catches shape. Trust me: I know what an exhaustive job this is and how much time you have to spend to play honestly. There are no cheats that will get you all through the game in half an hour, but there are some ways (not so fair-play) for you to get a little help in your humanity-saving mission.
First of all you need to enable the cheat console. To do that you have to add the following line to the game’s shortcut:
enable_system_console=trueUse this as an example: "C:Program FilesUFO AfterlightUFO.exe" --options video_caption=TRUE enable_system_console=true
Now we can move on and enter the codes. All that’s left is for you to press tilde “
~” during gameplay and type in your desired code.
