Windows Phone users enjoying their browsing experience on UC Browser will be pleased to know that developer UCWeb has just released a new version that fixes some issues with at least one of the major features introduced in the previous update.

For those unfamiliar with the previous major update for UC Browser for Windows Phone, the developer UCWeb added lots of new features, including SD Card support and Bluetooth File Sharing.

In addition, lots of under the hood improvements were included as well, along with menu optimization and other general enhancements.

However, UC Browser users who installed the update immediately discovered a critical bug that the developer wasn’t aware of at the time of the release.

It appears that one or more of the new features introduced caused random crashes and made the browser unstable. With the new update, the folks over at UCWeb claim to have fixed these crash issues, so we recommend UC Browser users to immediately update to the latest version.

New users can now download UC Browser for Windows Phone 3.4.1.407 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the mobile browser has been confirmed to work on all devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up.
