UC Browser users rejoice, as UCWeb has just released a new version of its Windows Phone browser that brings lots of new features and improvements.

We reported last week that UC Browser developers planned to bring Bluetooth File Sharing feature in a future version, but we did not expect that to happen so quickly.

Beginning today, Windows Phone users who already have the UC Browser application installed on their devices can update to version 3.4.0.374 in order to take advantage of the latest features added via the latest update.

First of all, as we have mentioned earlier, UC Browser for Windows Phone now features Bluetooth File Sharing, which allows users to share downloaded files with others via Bluetooth or even QR Code.

Another new feature that will please UC Browser users is the ability to export downloaded files to SD card or Public Folder for a much better file management.

The SD card support feature has been requested by UC Browser users for a long time and now it has finally made it onto one of the most popular Windows Phone browsers available on the market.

Speaking of which, according to UCWeb, its browser has now more than 400 million downloads on all platforms. This is no small feat for UC Browser especially taking into consideration the fierce competition on the mobile Internet browser application market.

Anyway, back to the latest update, it’s worth mentioning that developers have included some menu optimization tweaks, so that users can benefit from a much smoother browsing between menus.

Aside from giving a better browsing experience, the brand new Menu included in this version of UC Browser now features the Speed Mode in the main menu.

Last but not least, some general improvements have been added in the update, which are meant to improve UC Browser’s performance even further. Several tweaks have been confirmed as well, such as the possibility to adjust the font’s size by long pressing page in Speed Mode.

Moreover, developers have confirmed that they have made some optimization for more fonts on Windows Phone 8. The bookmarks have been improved as well, while the Bing search bug has been fixed.

Those who already have UC Browser installed on the Windows Phone devices may want to check for the update in the Windows Phone Store, if they haven’t been automatically notified.

New users can now download UC Browser for Windows Phone 3.4.0.374 for free via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up.
