The good folks over at UCWeb have just kicked off the private testing process for one of its most popular applications, UC Browser for Android devices.

Keep in mind that this is the standard UC Browser app, not the Mini version, which is also available for download via Google Play Store.

Anyway, UC Browser fans are now invited to test UC Browser version 9.8.9 and provide their feedback on anything they find broken in the application.

This time, however, developers do not offer any hints on what users should test in particular, possibly due to the fact that there aren’t too many new features included in this version.

According to UCWeb, UC Browser for Android 9.8.9 comes with an optimized download ability. Developers also mention they have managed to address an issue where some download tasks could not be resumed if paused.

Obviously, this is one of the features users of the beta version should test in the first place, but other tweaks and minor improvements may also have been added so look for them as well.

You can now download UC Browser beta for Android 9.8.9 beta for free via UCWeb’s support forum. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
