Windows Phone fans have a lot of expectations from Microsoft's Windows 10 Mobile, which is rumored to arrive sometime in September.

But then developers will have to convert their apps to the new operating system because current versions don't work well on Windows 10 Mobile.

Two of the most popular Windows Phone browsers will soon receive support for Windows 10 Mobile as well: Opera Mini and UC Browser. The information has been confirmed by both developers a few days ago.

According to UCWeb, its team of engineers is already working on a better version of UC Browser, which should be out pretty soon.

The new version will be specifically designed to work well on Windows 10 Mobile, since there are already preview builds that Windows Insiders are testing.

Opera Mini universal app is not yet in the cards

Opera Software has also confirmed that it's now aiming to make the Opera Mini application compatible with Windows 10 Phone, but it's not yet sure if it will create a universal app this time.

The software company has also stated that Opera won't come to Windows 10 Mobile yet, just Opera Mini will be specifically developed for this platform, though the Opera Browser universal app will be launched later this year.

Opera browser fans might be a bit disappointed about that, but it's still early days for Windows 10 Mobile, so anything is possible in the future.

It's also worth mentioning that developers have confirmed that Opera Mini for Windows 10 Mobile will be released “later this year.” We will probably have more details once Microsoft launches its new OS this fall.

You can now download UC Browser for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The application is compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up.

Moreover, you can also download Opera Mini for Windows Phone through Windows Phone Store. It should run smoothly on any device powered by Windows Phone 8.1.
