The new version does not feature an official changelog yet

Good news for Android fans that prefer UC Browser over other mobile browsers for their devices, as developer UCWeb is about to release a new version of UC Browser HD for tablets.

The new iteration has yet to be pushed on Google Play Store, but it can be downloaded via Softpedia. The bad news is that UCWeb did not issue an official changelog for the update, so Android users may want to install it on their tablets and see for themselves what’s changed.

Keep in mind that the application is compatible with tablets, but can be installed on Android smartphones as well. However, we strongly recommend users to install UC Browser HD on tablets rather than phones.

You can now download UC Browser HD 2.5 for Android for free via Google Play. Keep in mind that the application should be compatible with all tablets powered by Android 3.0 and up.

[UPDATE]: Developers have just released the new version on Google Play store and added an official changelog:

- Gesture Controlled Video Player: you can adjust the volume, brightness, and move backward and forward through a video all by sliding your finger; - Improved Stability: various bug fixes to improve stability.
