UCWeb announced a few days ago that a new flavor of their UC Browser would arrive on devices running under Java in the near future, namely UC Browser 9.0, and the company has already made available for download a pre-release flavor of the new app.

Given that it is not a final version, UC Browser 9.0 for Java phones might include a series of issues at the moment, though it will still provide users with a glimpse at what has been changed inside it.

Thus, they will be able to take advantage of new features such as faster video and audio playback, as well as the option to save usernames and passwords.

The development team behind the app notes in a forum post that there are various other improvements packed in this release as well, along with various bug fixes.

The full release notes for the new app flavor include:

- Fast Video and Audio Playing - You can transfer video and audio files to UDisk then play them via UDisk online, making the management of your media files more convenient.

- Account Information Saving - You can save usernames and passwords on several websites, such as Facebook and G-Mail, making logging-in more convenient.

- Improved User Interface - Optimization of design provides an enhancement of user experience.

- Bug Fixes - Increased stability and bug fixes, such as solutions to the missing Speed Dial.

Users who will download and install this pre-release flavor of UC Browser 9.0 for Java on their devices are encouraged to provide feedback on their experience, so that any bugs that emerge could be resolved before the final version of the app is made available for download.

To report issues with the browser, they should go to Settings > Help > Feedback. The new UC Browser 9.0 for Java can be downloaded from Softpedia as well, via this link.
