The popular UC Browser application has just seen a minor update on devices running under the Symbian platform, and is now available for download as version 8.8.1.252.

The new app release was meant to resolve some of the issues previously found to affect users’ experience, such as one which resulted in saved pages being blank, the development team explains.

Additionally, the browser will no longer show words reversed when opening Farsi or Arabic pages using the English version.

The new version of the mobile browser builds on the latest release for the Symbian platform, one that brought along customized online wallpapers, as well as the possibility to share links and images to Twitter, and also better bookmark management capabilities on touch-enabled devices.
