The development team prepares the UC Browser 8 release as well

Later this week, an new official flavor of the UC Browser will become available for download for the owners of handsets running Symbian or Java.

The team behind the application has just announced that they plan on releasing the new UC Browser 7.9 for Symbian & Java on Wednesday, and even provided some info on the new features and capabilities that will make it in this release.

The release notes for the new application iteration show that users will enjoy Auto Notification between night mode and day mode as soon as they install it, along with support for more image formats.

Moreover, the new browser release will arrive with more powerful bookmark capabilities, along with support for Arabic language.

It also comes with a series of fixes for some issues that the application had before, including one that resolves a timeout problem during webpage browsing, along with a timeout error in loading image.

Also, in the new application release, cache will be automatically adjusted, which means that users will not have to reset and clear Cache manually anymore.

The new flavor of the browser comes only several weeks after the release of UC Browser 7.8, and announces the upcoming availability of UC Browser 8.0.

As we already reported, the next major release of the UC Browser has entered private beta testing not too long ago, and should make it as a final release in the next several weeks.

At the moment, an unofficial UC Browser 8 flavor was made available for download, supposedly one of the final versions of the application, and those who would like to give it a try will find it available for download via various websites, a post on myemobiles reads.

For the time being, however, users should sit tight while the development team is getting ready to release the official UC Browser 7.9 for Symbian & Java, as more info on the next flavor of the browser will certainly emerge soon after.
