An updated flavor of the popular UC Browser has landed on Windows Phone handsets today, namely version 3.5.0.410.

The new application iteration comes to devices with a series of appealing enhancements inside, including better performance capabilities, and a smaller footprint.

According to UCWeb, the company behind UC Browser, the new flavor of the application has been pushed out with a faster start-up speed, which should ensure better overall experience for its users.

To ensure that the application can offer faster speeds at start-up, the company has reduced its package by 20 percent. Thus, the browser needs less memory, so that users could do more on their handsets.

“Through its continuous innovation, UC Browser has earned its place as the most popular browser in the Windows Phone Store. It provides Windows Phone users with the fastest and most holistic browsing experience,” the company notes.

Additionally, the browsing experience available through this application has been greatly improved, UCWeb notes.

Users will see that Facebook and YouTube offer seamless loading now, and that the scrolling through webpages is also smoother than before.

Following the update, users will be able to move back and forth on Facebook/YouTube pages without reloading them entirely. Only the updated content will be loaded.

The release notes attached to the new flavor of the mobile browser also unveil that it comes with video-caching capabilities now, which will enable users to easily watch videos offline, as well as to share them anytime, anywhere.

“With this latest update, UC Browser will surely bring Windows Phone users more opportunities to enjoy their time online. Lighter, faster, and now with an option to watch and share downloaded videos, it’s everything you need in a mobile browser and more,” the company also notes.

The mobile application will continue to offer the features and capabilities that its users have already been accustomed with, such as Desktop mode, Night Mode, Speed Mode, Incognito Browsing, and more.

UCWeb also notes that the mobile browser is becoming available in more languages, courtesy of the company’s translation program. Moreover, the company welcomes all of you interested in helping in the translation of the application in their native language through this crowd-driven effort.
