Israel has demonstrated its intention of ending the arms exports dispute with the U.S by canceling all its arms trades with China, according to the Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz.
This means that arms trade agreements previously made by Israel and China will no longer be valid, and, even more, Israel will try to improve its control strategy on its arms sales to China.
As a result of U.S pressure over Israeli authorities,
the ongoing deal of unmanned aerial vehicles with China was also halted.
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz announced that besides canceling this sale of drone aircraft, which is capable of seeking out radar installations, the standby parts of Harpy unmanned aerial vehicles previously delivered by China to be repaired in Israel, won't be returned.
China responded with an official complaint over the U.S pressures on Israel to cancel the deals, as part of meticulous campaign which has blocked its access to advanced military technology, because of the fear this might be used against Taiwan or US forces.
Five years ago, Israel has also canceled a $1 billion deal to sell Phalcon radar planes to China, which now shows a highly irritated attitude towards U.S.'s involvement in the matter.
According to a statement of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the two countries had a good cooperation, that couldn't harm others, but on the contrary, it demonstrated their intention to protect peace and stability in the Middle East.
