U.S. Cellular Rewards Loyal Customers with Free Phones and More Through September 8

U.S. Cellular has just announced several rewards specials that may qualify loyal customers for hot deals on select phones, ringtones and accessories.

Customers are advised to check their point balance as the newly launched promotion only runs through September 8.

In addition, the carrier stated that new wireless modem customers can now earn reward points, while existing modem customers on select plans are also eligible to earn points.

Some of the reward special offers that will be available through September 8 include point reduction on devices with mail-in rebates, so that customers can get half off and sometimes more on most devices with $100 and $50 mail-in rebates.

Furthermore, customers can get half off Tone Room Deluxe subscription redemptions, as there are only 400 points when 800 points are normally required.

It appears that while supplies last, the Samsung Exec and HTC Touch Pro II smartphones are available for only 1,000 points and 2,000 points respectively.

When it comes to accessories, U.S. Cellular offers select Bluetooth earpieces for 35% off at 3,500 points. Also, select car and travel chargers have also been reduced to 2,500 points, a points saving of 40%.

“We’re rewarding our customers for their loyalty with specials that allow them to use their
points to get the phones, accessories and ringtones they want now,” said David Kimbell, vice president of marketing for U.S. Cellular.

More importantly, U.S. Cellular customers who already subscribed for Belief Plans are automatically enrolled in the rewards program and earn points for doing simple things like paying their monthly wireless bills on time, adding a line or referring new customers.

“Our rewards program is a unique benefit that only U.S. Cellular customers enjoy, and it’s another reason we have the happiest customers in wireless,” added Kimbell.

Moreover, U.S. Cellular customers earn a 3 to 5% discount off their monthly bill by signing up for paperless billing, using automatic bill pay and paying with a credit or debit card.
