With only a few days left until Black Friday, U.S. Cellular's promotional offer has gone live and tempts customers with more than half of its portfolio of smartphones.

Those who are waiting for the Black Friday deals to purchase their favorite smartphone can check out what U.S. Cellular has to offer. The carrier sells its smartphones for $99.99 or less, starting November 21 through the 28th.

It remains to be seen if U.S. Cellular's Black Friday promotional offer matches those of other major carriers. The good news is that the carrier offers a few smartphones for free, but the bad news is that most of the devices are a bit old.

All new customers who switch to U.S. Cellular are eligible to get any of the carrier's smartphones for $99.99 or less after a $100 mail-in rebate.

There are five smartphones available for free via U.S. Cellular, such as the BlackBerry Curve 9350, Samsung Mesmerize, HTC Wildfire S, LG Optimus U, as well as the upcoming Samsung Repp.

Furthermore, the HTC Merge is now available for purchase for only $79.99, while the LG Genesis goes for just $49.99.

The newer devices go for $99.99, including the Motorola ELECTRIFY, HTC Hero S, HTC 7 Pro, BlackBerry Torch 9850 and BlackBerry Bold 9650. Obviously, purchase of a data plan is required and a new two-year agreement.

In other news, U.S. Cellular also debuted a new $39.99 plan that nets customers 450 minutes, free incoming calls, texts and pictures, mobile-to-mobile calls, and nights and weekends beginning at 7:00 P.M.

In addition to getting a great deal and joining the happiest customers in wireless, your rewards points will really add up, so you can get the latest cool phone faster without signing another contract. Get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping and start earning rewards now,” said David Kimbell, vice president of marketing for U.S. Cellular.
