Presenting small features in a sort of funny way seems to be Apple's idea to promote the new phones. Self-irony fits the same picture with the first ad, called "Huge." The phones that show up in the spot only have the default or Apple-made apps installed and Maps, Health, iMovie and GarageBand are highlighted.

The second TV spot, called "Camera," talks about the new slow-motion video recording and time-lapse mode. Photo editing, video stabilization, filters are also highlighted.

An interesting detail is that Apple kept the time and date of the device at September 9 on 9:41am. That is the moment when the Apple keynote has ended and Tim Cook was back on the stage to go through all the new devices once again.

This is the second set of commercials Apple made for the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and they are the first to show up on TV after the first weekend of sales. Apple announced yesterday that they had sold a record number of devices – 10 million units in just 3 days.

iOS 8 also has high numbers when it comes to adoption. Apple revealed that almost half of the existing old devices have been updated to the new iOS.
