Calling the sitcom “filth” clearly didn’t help his career, word online has it

That time when “Two and a Half Men” will be renamed “Two Men” is drawing near. CBS has renewed the show for another season, but Angus T. Jones is still not a regular, Entertainment Weekly has learned.

Fans were left with the impression that Jones’ recurring role this past season was something temporary. After all, the name of the show was enough reason to think that.

As it turns out, he won’t be back as a regular.

“Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer have both signed on for another round, with Kutcher getting a reported $700,000-per-episode [€537,345] payout. But don’t expect Angus T. Jones to be back full time,” EW writes.

“Studio Warner Bros. is talking to the actor about a possible recurring role on the show instead of coming back as a series regular. Cue the usual quips about whether the show’s title should be changed,” the e-zine adds.

CBS insists that there’s no hard feelings over the things Jones said last November (like how the sitcom was “filth” and he was ashamed to be on it) but, at this point, it’s a bit hard to believe it.
