Two Worlds is set in the fantasy world of Antaloor where the player is free to roam, complete the missions of the seven factions featured
in the game and choose his objectives as he wishes. Moral options are always present in this RPG and the player has to choose whether he wants to earn the respect or the fear of the in-game NPCs. Each of his actions has clear-cut consequences and contributes to the ending of the game.
The main issues with the game were the more-than-standard plot, which revolved around an awakened orc God and the necessary battle to send him back into the realm of the dead, and the lack of characters in the game world. Even if it was huge and open-ended, there weren't enough monsters and enough NPCs to keep a player entertained. There were also some performance and graphics-related problems, especially on the Xbox version. Critics made the inevitable comparison to Oblivion and the game was found lacking.
