Two new mirrorless cameras appear to be headed for us

Samsung barely launched its impressive NX1 mirrorless camera in the wild at Photokina 2014. The device is not even shipping out to customers (it will start to on October 15) and word has already surfaced about upcoming NX products.

As Mirrorless Rumors reports, the Korean tech giant is prepping not one but two successors of the NX300 camera. One of them will come with an EVF, while the other one won’t take advantage of this functionality.

Most importantly, the two new NX400 cameras will take advantage of the same sensor found in the NX1 and will bring about 4K recording, too!

There is also a third camera which is said to bring about a 20MP sensor that will come without Bayer and low pass filters.

When can we expect to see these new Samsung cameras make a debut? Sources familiar with the matter say the Korean behemoth won’t be making any grand announcements in the next 6 months.

Even so, we can expect the new shooters to appear sometime in 2015, probably towards the middle of the year.

The Samsung NX1 is quite a capable camera taking advantage of 28 million pixels and bundling a host of great functions, so we’re quite curios to see what the NX400 will be all about.
