Nintendo has promised that the number of WiiWare titles available for users would keep growing and they were right. This week, we get two new titles available to play on WiiWare, together with a new release on the Virtual console. Single player game Protothea, developed by Ubisoft, Toki Tori puzzler developed by Two Tribes and classic Ninja Combat are the three titles available now for download on your Nintendo Wii. Let's see a few details about them!

Probably, the best known release of the week is Toki Tori, the game that has already been met with a good reception from public and puzzle fans worldwide. Basically, the gameplay in Toki Tori is a blend of two genres. While it looks and feels like a platform game, it's a puzzle game by heart. Players will have to look and plan ahead carefully while using a variety of items, such as the Telewarp, Freeze-o-Matic and InstantRockTM. And that is exactly what the world needs now (and will always need): innovation. If you agree, check Toki Tori. It will cost you 1,000 Wii Points.

Ubisoft's Protothea is a top-down shooter game that brings the classic action from the old PCs and, why not, the arcade machines, back to your home. The game's mission is to destroy the asteroid called Maqno 01 and finish off a dark force called The Core. Players of all ages and experience levels will be able to take command of their ship, blast through four different worlds in ten missions. The game can be played by up to two players and purchasing it costs 1,000 Wii points.

The classic game released on the Virtual Console for 900 Wii points is Ninja Combat, a title that can be played by up to two people. Originally released in 1990, Ninja Combat is a side-scrolling combat-action game. You'll take control of the ninjas Joe and Hayabusa, and enter into battle against a group of evil ninjas called the Kage Ichizoku. Make your way into their home fortress, Ninja Tower, which dominates a big city in near future. Fight using normal attacks, jumps, special movements and ninja materials that deliver damaging blows to all enemies on screen. The choice is yours.
