14 DAY TRIAL // After Summit Entertainment focused on Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) and the incredible transformation he underwent in the second “Twilight” movie with the second official trailer, “Team Edward” fans are being told again that they have not been forgotten. The movie studio has released two new posters for “New Moon,” with one featuring Edward and Bella and the other just Edward, as Twilight Source can confirm.
The release of the posters comes just shortly before an extended trailer of the film is about to be premiered to the world, on September 13, at the MTV Video Music Awards, where Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner themselves will take the stage to introduce the new footage. This, of course, doesn’t mean it’s not a sight for sore eyes, as the saying goes, especially since all recent promotion for the film has been done mostly by Lautner and, to some extent, Kristen Stewart.
Fans of Robert Pattinson have now reason to rejoice. As noted above, the first poster released shows Edward and Bella in a tight embrace, facing the camera. While he seems to be desperately clinging her to his chest, palm wide open on her back, Bella’s expression is relaxed, showing that she knows she is where she truly belongs, fans say on dedicated forums. The second poster, in return, is something only for Pattinson’s impressively large and loyal fanbase, as he is featured alone, golden eyes fixed on the camera and in full brooding mode.
As fans must know, the second official trailer for “New Moon,” also known and promoted as “Meet Jacob Black,” left most of Edward and Bella’s love story out. As a matter of fact, it centered on what was most obvious in the second book as well, namely the transformation Jacob underwent once his wolf gene kicked in and he became a shapeshifter in Sam’s pack.
“Jacob has changed in a lot of different ways. He’s bigger, he’s 30 pounds bigger! ‘New Moon’ is a lot more complicated than ‘Twilight’ was. As time goes on, the heat starts building. ‘New Moon’ is going to be stepped up a whole other notch. There’s going to be a lot more action, especially with the werewolves involved. I think the fans are really going to be happy.” Taylor said in the trailer of his character’s transformation.
