14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier this week, a new teaser video from Alfonso Cuaron’s upcoming film “Gravity,” simply called “Detached,” was released. The movie studio is following it up with two new teasers and, believe it or not, they’re just as terrifying as that one.
The idea of the film, as sold in marketing materials, is simple: two astronauts on a spacewalk are hit by debris from a destroyed satellite and are sent drifting through space, attached only one to another and with a limited amount of oxygen.
The execution of such an idea is what must have posed the most challenges, and the fact that Cuaron used mostly long takes for it truly stands.
