Two students from the Fayetteville-Manlius High School managed to bring a lot of new visitors to YouTube after they posted an exciting music hit on the page. The two seniors created a 92-second clip to explain their attraction for math using the well-known "What You Know" hit sang by rapper T.I. It all started when the two students decided that it was high time to destroy their geek image and publish a clip on the famous online video sharing service to inform other members about their extra-math life. Ethan Gilbert and Aaron Flack sustained they like math but they also love several sports such as football, basketball and lacrosse.

"We're memorizing rates for our Math League states against the Math League greats. Not getting many dates. I got to find a mate, but girls just play a hate and always make me wait," the two students said in the clip according to the Post-Standard. "I am a nerd!. But I also play lacrosse, so it takes the pain away," Aaron Flack added.

The clip was filmed in a journalism class project and is currently a real hit on YouTube, recording no more than 983.840 views, 7009 comments and was flagged as favorite for 8417 times.

As I said before, YouTube really tends to become a social tool because more and more users are attracted to use the product with a different goal than sharing clips with other members. For example, a woman fighting against leukemia posted a video on the Google product to inform other users about the treatment and require help. After the clip recorded thousands of views, she managed to find a matching bone marrow donor in Denmark, YouTube saving her life.
