The online experience of Facebook users is becoming increasingly thrilling by the day. CasualCafe, a company that develops and delivers browser games for different platforms, signed a partnership with Facebook, which would enable the social network's users to get their hands on two brand new Flash based games.
The first of them, Spyde Solitaire, has the background of the famous Spider version of the card game Solitaire. The new features it brings are power-ups and custom levels for each user. Burdaloo, the second addition, is an intriguing mix-and-match pastime in which funny looking characters are used for unveiling secrets.
"PC-based games were offering diminishing revenue to developers. But social games are a new market and an emerging business opportunity. CasualCafe's history of developing competitive games makes our content a natural fit for Facebook Platform." says Michael Scholz, the company's founder. The company didn't receive any funds for the two games, because the business is framed differently. CasualCafe and Facebook will make a micro-transactions arrangement and, also, the game provider will receive part of the advertising revenue.
"Our intent is to deliver unique games that are easy to learn, but reward users who spend the time to master them. And the benefit of Facebook Platform integration is that players can play with or against their friends in a casual setting. More than fifty percent of Facebook users visit the site daily. Our application is one more cool thing for them to do while they are online." explains CasualCafe's representative as to why Facebook was the best partner for the deal.
New things are usually well-received by dynamic people, as most of Facebook's users are. Although the social network already includes a series of games to meet the most diverse tastes, CasualCafe's offer seems to be adding a little more spice to the online activity.
