The sites will not be restored any time soon because they're not in use anymore

An Indonesian hacker who uses the online moniker simpleS has breached and defaced two Albanian government websites.

Techworm.in reported that the sites, ccifier.gov.al and qarkufier.gov.al, were hacked a couple of days ago. However, at the time of writing, they’re still defaced.

In a message posted on the defaced pages, the hacker urges the site’s administrators to patch up their vulnerabilities. simpleS, a member of the Indonesian Security Tester team, says the flaws can be easily fixed.

However, it’s unlikely that this will happen. That’s because the websites, which appear to belong to Albania’s Fier county, are not in use anymore.

A Google cache reveals that, before they were defaced, both of the websites displayed a message which read, “Page is closed. If you need more information contact the finance sector.”
