Twitter has just delivered a major update for its Android client. The latest version of Twitter for Android brings a handful of important new features that makes it easier for users to post images on their accounts.

First and foremost, with the latest version of Twitter, users will be able to crop and rotate images directly within the application.

In addition, you will now be able to mention other users when you tweet a photo. Developers have also added better login verification and you can now see recommendations for new content on Twitter right after you pull to refresh and read all the tweets.

You can now download Twitter for Android 5.0.11 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
