A new flavor of Twitter’s mobile application for devices running under Google’s Android operating system is now available for download.

Released as version 3.2.2, the new app iteration has been designed to resolve some of the issues that were found to affect the user experience in previous variants.

For example, it fixes the missing avatars on handsets that run under Android 2.0 and 2.1, and it also resolves an issue with Top Tweets appearing out of order in search and discover.

Additionally, the new flavor of the mobile client should accurately display sync settings based on system sync setting, while being meant to resolve a series of other bugs and crashes as well.
