It brings easier access to Dms, notifications from user's network, more

Twitter has just pushed a major update to its Android client. The new version of Twitter for Android feature a new design and long-time users will notice that Home, Activity and Discover tabs are now available by swiping in Timelines.

According to developers, Twitter users will now have easier access to DMs and will be able to share photos in Direct Messages. The ability to send and receive photos via DMs has been included as well, along with the option to receive notifications from user's own network.

With the last version of Twitter, users will be able to choose to view Replies, Retweets, and Favorites from only the people they follow. It's also possible to favorite profiles to receive a Push Notification any time people in one's network tweet.

You can now download Twitter for Android 5.0.5 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
