This holiday season comes with a rather interesting invention, the Knitbot, or the twitter-powered knitting machine. The ingenious machine produces festive clothing triggered by a chip that keeps track of tweets containing the mention #jumpers4des.

The invention produces red jumpers with white snowflakes and Clydesdale horses for Budweiser fans. “We want to promote and celebrate the important role that designated drivers pay in a fun and engaging way, with our own take on the festive trend,” the company's marketing manager told Metro.

Besides being an awareness campaign for the holiday alcohol consumption, it offers some really cool jumpers, perfect for the cold weather. The more enthusiasts talking about the project and using the official hashtag, the more jumpers.

The campaign will be running until December 6, but supporters of designated drivers can visit the page after the final day of the competition to get their hands on the twitter-powered machine's treats. I simply love the idea and I really wish I'll get my hands on one of those jumpers.
