The new button is tested in India and appears in different places

It looks like Facebook's new acquisition, WhatsApp, will soon get a dedicated share button inside the Twitter application for Android devices.

The iOS version of Twitter hasn't been spotted with the new WhatsApp button, but lots of users, mostly from India, have got an update that brings this feature.

Currently, in order to share a tweet via WhatsApp, you need to tap on the Share button, where you can choose what service to use.

However, this update puts a dedicated WhatsApp Share button right on the front page of the application, so Twitter users will only need to tap on it in order to share their tweets via WhatsApp.

The weird thing is that the dedicated WhatsApp share button seems to be placed in different spots inside the Android application. For example, one Twitter user seems to have it placed to the left of the Search icon in the right upper corner of the application.

Another user has it placed in the right lower corner near the Share button. The update that adds the WhatsApp share button is only available for some Twitter users, so don't expect to get it anytime soon. See the pictures below for more details on the matter.
